Laura Lima: The Drawing Drawing ICA London
Laura Lima opens The Drawing Drawing, her first solo exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), London.
The exhibition brings together performative installations across the ICA’s Upper and Lower Galleries, centred on a new commission that reimagines the traditional life drawing class and blurs the boundaries between artwork and audience. Works such as Ascenseur (2013) and a scene related to Balé Literal are also on view, contributing to an exhibition characterised by movement, poetic discovery and unpredictability.
On Wednesday, 28 January, at 6:45 pm, Laura Lima will be in conversation with Andrea Nitsche-Krupp, Curator of Exhibitions at ICA London, about her artistic practice and the development of her first solo exhibition in London.
Laura Lima: The Drawing Drawing is supported by the British Council and Instituto Guimarães Rosa, Brazil, as part of the UK–Brazil Season of Culture 2025–26.
