As obras de Ana Luiza são marcadas por uma sensação de compulsão. Suas figuras voluptuosas transitam entre o grotesco, a sexualidade e o fetiche, carregando um intenso conteúdo subjetivo. Ao articular linhas, volumes, figuras antropomórficas, monstros e códigos de vestuário associados ao poder e ao consumo, a artista cria formas que se entrelaçam, compondo uma única massa pulsante.
"Este pequeno retângulo, terreno irregular, torna-se um verdadeiro campo de batalha. A luta é um desejo duplo: perder e encontrar simultaneamente a imagem entre camadas de tinta, onde a cor é acrescentada ou subtraída, transformando a pele existente em parte fundamental da nova pintura."

By articulating lines, volumes, anthropomorphic figures, monsters, and clothing codes associated with power and consumption, the artist creates forms that intertwine, forming a single pulsating mass.
"This small rectangle, an uneven terrain, becomes a true battlefield. The struggle embodies a double desire: to lose and find the image simultaneously within layers of paint, where color is added or subtracted, transforming the existing surface into an essential part of the new painting."]
