Mestre Cicinho foi uma figura central na cultura dos Reisados de Juazeiro do Norte, sendo pilar do grupo Reisado Manoel Messias. Ele promoveu a formação de jovens brincantes, garantindo a continuidade da tradição através de ações que preservaram a cultura e impulsionaram a ressocialização de jovens vulneráveis, fortalecendo a identidade cultural e comunitária da região. Atualmente, seu legado segue sendo perpetuado por sua filha “Mestra Flaternara”, que assumiu a liderança do grupo após a morte de seu pai.
