[Bioacoustic Architecture is a video-installation that investigates the sonoric complexity of native bees in Brazil and is the fruit of more than 10 years of the artist’s research. The work is a 10-minute looped video composed of visual and acoustic recordings collected at the artist’s studio/meliponary (bee farm) in Bocaina de Minas in Minas Gerais state. The sound equipment interacts with ceramic sculptures that function as resonators that amplify the collected soundscapes, creating a dialogue between the artisanal and the organic. Both scientific and poetic, the installation invites the viewer into a sensorial space that explores the dynamics of the coexistence of species.]
