He makes use of mixed media to create a pictorial language that combines rhythm, sound and image. The work is inspired by his experience of life in the periphery in Sepetiba, a territory that mixes favelas, rural areas, Atlantic Forest and wetlands, and portrays the diversity and social violence inherent to the place.
