[Discos Voadores (Flying Saucers), works that emerge from Laura Lima’s Balé Literal, are suspended by springs that move gently and derive from one of the elements of the Balé: an object constructed from two overlapping plates, evoking the shape of a flying saucer. Every technology is an invention. The Flying Saucers become more elaborate with screws, hinges, nuts, kitchen utensils, glass, ceramics, and wires, turning into intricate, ornamented structures.]
