Na obra, a partir de elementos como o carro, o motorista e a estudante, o artista faz uma alusão à Marielle Franco*. A imagem da criança, frequente no repertório de Arjan Martins, aparece na cena como testemunha. As figuras das duas mulheres, uma dentro e a outra fora do carro, evidenciam que poderiam ser a mesma pessoa, assim como o embarque e o desembarque.

*Marielle Franco, foi uma socióloga, política, feminista e defensora dos direitos humanos brasileira, assassinada a tiros no dia 14 de março de 2018 junto de seu motorista, Anderson Pedro Mathias Gomes, na Região Central do Rio de Janeiro.

In the work, by using elements such as the car, the driver and the student, the artist alludes to Marielle Franco*. The child image, frequently shown in Arjan Martins’s repertoire, appears on the scene as a witness. The figures of the two women, one of them inside of the vehicle and the other one outside of it, evidence that they could be the same person, such as boardings and alightings.

*Marielle Franco was a brazilian sociologist, politician, feminist and human rights defensor, shot dead on March 14, 2018, along with her driver, Anderson Pedro Mathias Gomes, in downtown Rio de Janeiro.
