Voo 10, da série Sintomas Alados, articula os ofícios da olaria e da serralheria, onde cerâmica e ferro soldado se encontram. Vicente Baltar trabalha com barro e ferro para capturar o lapso de movimento de um corpo em estado intenso de vida. As formas cerâmicas evocam a ideia de corporeidade, imaginando o que pode ser expresso como corpo. Ao unir partes que remetem ao corpo, o artista emana silhuetas a partir da escuridão da terra que molda — corpos animais, vegetais, celulares ou humanos — suspensos em pleno voo.

As hastes de ferro envolvem e prolongam o corpo cerâmico, criando sensação de movimento e leveza. A obra revela a tensão entre repouso e movimento, apresentando o corpo em uníssono com o gesto — uma presença de passado e presente condensada em um instante suspenso.

Voo 10, from the series Sintomas Alados, brings together the crafts of pottery and metalwork, where ceramics and welded iron intersect. Vicente Baltar works with clay and iron to capture the fleeting movement of a body in an intense state of life. The ceramic forms evoke the idea of corporeality, imagining what can be expressed as body. By joining parts that allude to the body, the artist emanates silhouettes from the darkness of the earth he shapes—animal, vegetal, cellular, or human bodies—suspended in mid-flight.

The iron rods envelop and extend the ceramic body, creating a sense of movement and lightness. The work reveals the tension between stillness and motion, presenting the body in unison with gesture—a presence of past and present condensed into a single suspended instant.]
