Os trabalhos apresentados fazem parte de uma investigação que olha para o céu para pensar na formação de matérias da terra. A produção parte da história de Sinda, corpo celeste personagem de um conto-poema escrito pelo meu pai, Franklin. Na história, a estrela habitava o céu mas sonhava em viver dentro do mar, brilhando com grande intensidade na esperança de que pudesse sentir através de sua luz as águas dos oceanos. Narrando por meio da criação e instalação de esculturas, bem como pela recriação desse universo através da pintura, investigo e conto uma história sobre como a queda de fragmentos de uma estrela na Terra e suas diferentes reações físico-químicas deram origem aos elementos presentes em todas as matérias terrestres. As obras desenvolvidas durante a pesquisa evocam a possibilidade de novos começos, o poder do desejo e a elaboração do sonho como verdade.

[The works presented here are part of an investigation that looks to the sky to think about the formation of earthly materials. Their making starts with the story of Sinda, a celestial body who is a character in a poem-short story written by my father, Franklin. In the story, a star lived in the sky, but longed to live under the sea, shining intensely in the hope that it could feel the ocean waters through its light. I research and tell a story – narrating through the creation and installation of sculptures, as well as the re-creation of this universe through painting –, about how the fallen fragments from the star to the Earth and its different physical-chemical reactions gave life to the elements present in all earthly matter. The works developed during this research evoke the possibility of new beginnings, the power of desire and the elaboration of dreams as truth.]
