A formulação do termo identitário "afro-índigena" é uma das inquietações que o artista conduz neste conjunto de obras que provocam uma leitura aprofundada destas noções. Assim nasce o Ketu-Guarani.
O epistemícidio violentamente imposto nessas duas culturas gera uma escassez de conhecimento sobre as etnias nativas e diaspóricas que pertencem à ancestralidade do artista. A partir de ficções especulativas e do curto-circuito temporal narrativo, Edgar pesquisa o futurismo indígena e a diáspora negra, imerso em um universo específico e indomável.
The formulation of the identity term "Afro-Indigenous" is one of the concerns that the artist explores in this set of works that provoke an in-depth reading of these notions. This is how Ketu-Guarani is born.
The epistemicide violently imposed in these two cultures generates a scarcity of knowledge about the native and diasporic ethnicities that belong to the artist's ancestry. Through speculative fictions and a narrative temporal short-circuit, Edgar researches indigenous futurism and the black diaspora, immersed in a specific and indomitable universe.
