Each work results from the encounter between these elements and the artist’s sensibility, shaped by his experience of perceiving light—an experience that transforms the way we see spaces, buildings, and nature itself.
In this painting, the diffuse light reflected off the surfaces of the Palazzo Barberini, revealing how light remains present even under rain and a cloudy sky. Afa perceived this soft, scattered brightness, capable of transforming the building and its surroundings, revealing new nuances in the urban landscape.]
