O JARDIM” (Trilogia das Plantas 2): Denilson Baniwa e Felipe M. Bragança
A Gentil Carioca São Paulo presents “THE GARDEN” (Plant Trilogy 2) by the Indigenous visual artist Denilson Baniwa in collaboration with filmmaker Felipe M. Bragança. The video installation is organized around a wooden sculpture and three simultaneous video monitors: *The Philosopher’s Voice (Coccia) + *Ritual of Plant-Bodies + *Living Still Life.
The project is part of a trilogy that weaves together narratives of the Baniwa people with the philosophy of Italian thinker Emanuele Coccia (who appears in the work), presenting the vision of an imminent “vegetal revolution.” The piece was produced with the support of the RUMOS ITAÚ CULTURAL program.
