As figuras de meninos são recorrentes na produção de Martins e revelam uma imagem que é a realidade de muitas crianças de diferentes partes do mundo, apontando a imigração contemporânea, especialmente da África, onde as crianças são as primeiras vítimas. O artista é capturado pela expansão dessas imagens, pelo que elas podem trazer e relatar. Focado na questão da imigração e na paisagem no aspecto narrativo. Na imagem há uma nova figura - a de um cachorro -, assim como a inserção do branco, proeminente nesta obra diferente de suas outras produções.

[The figures of boys are recurrent in Martins' production and reveal an image that is the reality of many children from different parts of the world, pointing to contemporary immigration, especially from Africa, where children are the first to be victims. The artist is captured by the expansion of these images, by what they can bring and recount. He is focused on immigration issues and on the landscape in a narrative aspect. There is a new figure in the image - that of a dog -, as well as the insertion of the color white, prominent in this work and different from his other productions.]
