A pesquisa se inicia como resposta à adversidade política que vivemos, frente a distopia do jogo eleitoral, as recentes ditaduras mal cicatrizadas da nossa história e o sangue derramado em solo latino-americano. A artista recorreu a um conteúdo que chama de anti-amnésico, buscando na memória luminosa dos vencidos, o luto e a luta de velhas esperanças com intuito de abordar questões da dívida histórica via América Latina. Figuras anônimas são o tema central da pesquisa pictórica. A série Futuro do Pretérito compreende o passado como parte indissolúvel do presente.
Comissão da Verdade is part of the series Futuro do Pretérito. The research begins as a response to the political adversity we are experiencing in the face of dystopian electoral play, the recent poorly healed dictatorships in our history and the bloodshed on Latin American soil. The artist has used a content that she calls anti-amnesic, seeking in the bright memory of the defeated, the mourning and the struggle of old hopes in order to address issues of the historical debt via Latin America. Anonymous figures are the central theme of the pictorial research. The series Futuro do Pretérito comprises the past as an indissoluble part of the present. -
