Ao longo dos anos, a corrente de aço tornou-se um elemento recorrente na pesquisa da artista - não apenas como material, mas como portadora de memória, peso e permanência. Coletada, reaproveitada e transformada, a corrente aparece em diferentes obras: ora pendurada como um varal ritual, ora moldada como adorno ou extensão do corpo.

Em Relíquias #3, o uso da corrente é ampliado por uma especulação visual e simbólica sobre os antigos adornos e os símbolos Adinkra, grafismos de origem akan que condensam conceitos filosóficos e sociais. A obra evoca especialmente Osram Ne Nsoromma (a lua e a estrela), símbolo que une esses dois astros para expressar amor, cuidado e interdependência. Nesse contexto, corrente e cosmos se entrelaçam como num gesto de proteção mútua: a matéria pesada se curva ao afeto e à memória coletiva, criando um campo de tensão entre força e delicadeza, vínculo e liberdade. A relíquia deixa de ser um objeto do passado; torna-se um portal de afeto e continuidade, onde o corpo ressoa em harmonia com o universo.


[Over the years, steel chain has become a recurring element in the artist's research - not just as a material, but as a carrier of memory, weight and permanence. Collected, reused and transformed, the chain appears in different works: sometimes hanging as a ritual clothesline, sometimes shaped as an adornment or extension of the body.

In Relics #3, the use of the chain is amplified by a visual and symbolic speculation on ancient adornments and Adinkra symbols, Akan graphics that condense philosophical and social concepts. The work particularly evokes Osram Ne Nsoromma (the moon and the star), a symbol that unites these two stars to express love, care and interdependence. In this context, current and cosmos intertwine as if in a gesture of mutual protection: heavy matter bows to affection and collective memory, creating a field of tension between strength and delicacy, bond and freedom. The relic ceases to be an object from the past; it becomes a portal of affection and continuity, where the body resonates in harmony with the universe.]
