In simplicity, complexities emerge. When a child holds a paintbrush as a weapon, her penetrating gaze, convinced of her purpose, transcends innocence. With a green halo, she becomes a saint, part of the artistic poetics that elevates black bodies to divinity, transforming everyday life into something celestial. The brush, as a weapon of transformation, redefines the ordinary as extraordinary. However, the intrusive reality erupts, reminding us of the line: "They mistook my brush for a gun and fired." In a world where artistic expression becomes the real revolution, the tragedy reveals the urgency of disarming minds even before disarming brushes.
