A personagem veste a escultura Coluna.

Laboratório II is a self-portrait in which the human body is transformed into a monstrous being. The eroticism present reveals a self-sufficiency in the fulfilment of desires, where the creature gives and receives pleasure at the same time. The body, which has a false sense of control - control of one's own body or the body of another - is a power of libido (understood here as the active force of the will), of transformation and of healing, but which is often dormant. The monster warns of this capacity and allows what is most natural in us, including the paradoxical need for freedom and control. The scene takes place in the artist's bedroom, where she used to produce all her works. The composition shows fabrics and materials used for creation, such as the sewing machine, scissors and threads. The character is wearing the sculpture Coluna.
