[This work celebrates the gathering of the followers of Obatalá, the deity of white and lord of creation. As an Òrìṣà (Orixá) of creativity, he inspires artists to transform matter into the sacred. The painting evokes his protection over the Èmèrè — spiritual beings who hold a deep bond with the invisible plane and who, under Obatalá’s mantle, find balance and the preservation of their Ori (head). Through natural pigments, the canvas materializes the rite and the strength of the deity, reaffirming that all creation is, in essence, an act of devotion and care for life.]
