A obra “Moqueca de Maridos / Lord of the Flies” é um conto sobre uma entidade que vive nos rios. Antes deste mundo existir, era ela quem ensinava os cantos para as mulheres. Em troca, ela pedia que a oferecessem, para que pudesse devorá-los, seus maridos cozidos em moqueca. O trabalho retrata esta entidade em sua moradia – deitada na rede do universo, acompanhada de todos os outros espíritos dos rios, os peixes e as plantas – enquanto devora um destes maridos capturados.
[The work “Moqueca de Maridos / Lord of the Flies” is a tale about an entity that lives in rivers. Before this world existed, she was the one who taught songs to women. In return, she would ask them to offer her, so that she could devour them, their husbands cooked in moqueca. The work portrays this entity in its home – lying in the hammock of the universe, accompanied by all the other spirits of the rivers, the fish and the plants – while it devours one of these captured husbands.]
