A Gentil Carioca returns to ARCO Madrid 2026 with FUNFUN  a solo presentation featuring new works by Kelton Campos Fausto.

In the artist’s words, Funfun immerses itself in the symbology of Òbàtálá — the great Òrìṣà Funfun — exploring purity, creation, character, and the spiritual pathways that shape the Orí, destiny, and human conduct.

In Yorùbá, FUNFUN means “white,” symbolizing clarity, ethical integrity, and spiritual balance. Inspired by the symbolic universe of Òbàtálá, the presentation understands artistic practice as an ethical and contemplative gesture.

Through repetition, structure, and movement, Kelton investigates authorship, responsibility, and the equilibrium between body, mind, and environment.
