Essa monotipia carrega em si a sua matriz, o papel japonês poroso, dobrado aleatoriamente. A tinta atravessa a profundidade da dobra, as camadas do papel extremamente fino e absorvente, do preto mais opaco até sumir. O resultado é um díptico formado pela dobra aberta (a própria matriz) e sua imagem fechada (como um espelho ou memória), dentro e fora simultaneamente.


This monotype carries within itself its matrix, the porous Japanese paper, randomly folded. The ink runs through the depth of the fold, the layers of extremely thin and absorbent paper, from the dullest black to fade. The result is a diptych formed by the open fold (the matrix itself) and its closed image (like a mirror or a memory), in and outside simultaneously.
