[Pescaria, by Denilson Baniwa, is a work about anthropological museum collections that preserve Indigenous memories and where, for a long time, many people sought to understand their own worlds — just as artists sought creative inspiration. Through collages and drawings, the work brings together ancestral and historical images: a sixteenth-century engraving collage, a drawing of fishing and an Indigenous funerary urn. Among these overlapping elements appears the phrase “aesthetic solutions to evoke feeling,” revealing the artist’s sensitive gaze toward memory and culture.]
